Emergency Symptoms


 

 

While we are unable to provide a medical diagnosis without an examination

you should see us immediately if your pet is experiencing

any of the following symptoms.

 

  • Abdominal pain or enlargement
  • Seizures, trembling or convulsions
  • Repeated vomiting or gagging
  • Sudden,severe lameness or paralysis
  • Persistent diarrhea
  • Bleeding or open wounds
  • Pale gum color
  • Tissue swelling or bruising
  • Rapid or difficult breathing
  • Vocalizing as if in distress
  • Straining to urinate
  • Weakness, disorientation or collapse
  • Persistent sneezing
  • Poison exposure or ingestion
  • Prolonged labor
  • Persistent cough
